Hi Petertje56

I have just had another look, I think you have the wrong house number, I suspect it should be 5/13 (not 50/13) in which case the building is on the corner of South West Boulevard [www.cheboksary.ws]. this is the correct photo [foto.cheb.ru] . Its nothing to write home about, so to speak. (td)

The street is "Ulitsa Mate Zalka" its to south of the City centre , you can take a look here [cheb.ru]. (use Google translate) There is no number 50. There is a number 13 and you can click on the photo [foto.cheb.ru].

I will be participating in a year long educational exchange in Cheboksary with AFS, from Mid August 2010 to mid June 2011.

On my trip in April to Cheboksary, I used both the flight with RegionAir and the overnight train.
For me, there is nothing better then the flight with RegionAir.

At this moment, they fly 2 times per week, during the summer period, they will have an almost daily flight between the 2 cities.

Also, what I have heard from RegionAir, is that from October, they will have an internet booking capability.
With this, it is not needed for someone to buy your tickets locally and send them to you.

When booked in advance, the tickets are cheap (as from 2500 rubles).
That, combined with some nice offers from AirBerlin from Dusseldorf, it is really good to go to Cheboksary..
And especially for me, to see my girlfriend again.

Hi again guys,

I am in the planning stages now to open a small clothing store in Cheboksary in about 14 months. Any ideas about the best areas to do so or the prices that one can expect to pay for an extended lease. I would want a store size that would allow for a nice variety but not huge like a department store, perhaps 80-150 square meters would suffice. Also, I would be interested to make some contacts in the area for customs purposes, legal advice, etc. Any interest or help would be appreciated :-) You can contact me through here or at my email timothy.bryan@yahoo.com.

Unfortunately, it seems you must Email or Call to get the Schedule now in English, unless you go through the Russian Homepage. Good news is they still have flights from Moscow Vnukovo International Airport (VKO) to Cheboksary.

I checked out s7 airlines, but they do not fly to Cheboksary.

it is s7 airlines, their web-site is user friendly and it is in English.
they do have some tickets
Also, you can fly to Nizhnii Novgorod or Kazan, both of which are about 3 hours away from Cheboksary.
